Motivational Monday

Like A Boss

The decision to make a change. The choice to become better version of yourself. The beginning of showing your body who is boss. And the start of turning bad habits into good habits. They all feel impossible until you take your first step. But no one can take that step for you. It’s up to you. And only you. And no one can make you do anything you do not want to do. You see, in order to make lasting change. You have to want that change more than you want to stay the same. You have to decide whether you will allow a number on a scale to define who you are. Or your worthiness. And once you want something badly enough. Once you take the first step. There is no stopping you. And yes. Some days will be more difficult than others. You will want to give up. You will probably cry. A lot. But you will have good days. Hold onto those good days tightly as you can. You will need them on the difficult days. But you know. And I know. Once you have taken that first step. No matter what the day looks like. Or how we feel. We have to show up. And we have to keep showing up. Like a boss. Until we get to what it is we wanted more than staying the same. Because the truth is. I deserve the very best. You deserve the very best. And there isn’t a scale in the world. There isn’t another person in this world that should be able to convince either one of us, we are not worthy of having everything we see in our dreams.

What have you done today to be active?

How is you Monday going?

What’s for dinner? We are having homemade chicken fingers (baked not fried) salad and mashed potatoes

  1. Great blog! I shoveled snow for over an hour and then did an hour interval workout on the elliptical trainer, and both left me feeling stronger, confident, energetic, and positive. I made homemade vegetable beef soup for dinner, which hit the spot on this Snow Day. It never ceases to amaze me how what we do with our bodies and put into our bodies impacts every aspect of our lives. Happy Monday, Boss!
