Hurry Up And Wait

Hurry Up And Wait!

My application for graduate school is done. Finished. Completed. Submitted. And sent off. All that hoopla about getting my application in ASAP and I now I have to wait.

In other news I was notified yesterday I am also testing for another job for the local sheriff. I still have not received my results from my previous test for the other job with them.  You guessed it, more waiting. Patience seems to be my challenge in life right now. Well patience and staying positive and not allowing myself to feel discourage about running. Speaking of running,  I am off to cook dinner.  I am making homemade pesto pasta, salad and garlic bread. Then hopefully I can get a run walk/run in before dark.

Are you waiting for news about something?

What’s for dinner?

Did you run or do anything active today?

Until next time, always be true to yourself and think like a boss!

  1. So very proud of you!!! As usual, I relate to what you wrote, as patience definitely is not my virtue, and hurry up and wait seems to be an ongoing theme in my life. As I continue to make great strides in my personal and professional life, I still am waiting to see what will become of my goal to be a professional writer and what will happen with a particular relationship. On a daily basis, I have to focus on enjoying the journey, and I have to let go of the outcome, which can be easier said than done. Good things come to those who go out and get it, so, Boss, keep moving forward!

  2. Oh wow! Good luck! My step-daughter just started her MA/PhD program. I finished mine quite a few years ago–I remember the waiting. It’s awful! Good luck being patient! Keep runnin!

  3. I am also waiting for school to begin. I had to take the summer off and I guess if I weren’t in so much of a hurry to get this bachelor’s degree done, then onto a Master’s, I wouldn’t feel as though I had ants in my pants the last three months. On a brighter note, I was able to relax although most of that time was located on my front porch. Soon, next week soon, I will be busy once again and dream of hours on my porch and wonder why I wanted this time to rush by. Until then, I am thinking like a boss!

  4. Good things come to those who wait 🙂 best of luck! I’m just waiting for Friday, I made gluten free pizza for dinner, went on a 6.50 mile walk with my friend earlier today, and that’s about it. Hahaha!

  6. No school for me but there are things that I am putting off. Just do, right? Dinner was eggs, I ran/walked to the falls. Got a new camera so the weekend will be fun.
